Welcome to Amazon Atlantic
Airlines
Who we are
Amazon Atlantic
Airlines is a well established virtual airline operating within
the excellent FSAirlines management system, with
bases in Brazil, Europe, the USA, South Africa and Dubai. We
don't have a
minimum number of flights per month or fixed bases, you fly
when you want, where you want, with the aircraft
of your choice (subject to type ratings and experience).
History
Amazon Atlantic Airlines grew out
of a number of earlier VAs and was originally a cargo only carrier. Our fleet
of Airbus A310-200Fs was at the time the largest on FSAirlines. We
gradually evolved into a passenger carrier, and now operate four distinct hubs
covering the Atlantic Ocean from north, south, east and west.
We operate regional and international flights from all of
our bases with a special emphasis on transatlantic operations.
We are one of the longest established virtual airlines
on FSAirlines, tracing our origins back to the days of FlyNet.
Our fleet
We operate a fleet ranging from small
turboprops and classic jets like the Lockheed
Tristar and VC-10 up to modern Airbus, Boeing
and
Embraer types. See our fleet listing for details.
Our home base is Brazil, with a
predominantly Boeing fleet based out of Guarulhos and Confins.
Our European operation is split into mainline and charter operations, with
an all Airbus fleet in Arlanda for scheduled flights
and a mixed charter fleet based out of Stansted.
Our main base in South Africa is Johannesburg where we
operate an interesting mixed fleet including the A148 and the classic
B747-200, and our bases at Newark and San Diego in the
USA, from where we run domestic and international flights on
Boeing aircraft. Our newest hub is Dubai where we have the
B737-800 for regional routes and Airbus widebodies for international
operations.
